Three very different product problems.

A reusable route for responsible AI, clearer tax responsibilities and the next correct action during a disrupted journey.

Building the capability for AI to scale across Darwin.

I connected product strategy, experience language, governance, reusable components and AI-enabled ways of working—moving the organisation beyond isolated experiments.

IN-SYNC Luna

IN-SYNC Group · Lead UX Designer / Web Developer

Turning a complex tax process into clear next actions.

The answer was not to digitise the old process faithfully. Luna exposed status and the next action first, while the service kept hold of the tax complexity customers had never needed to understand.

Follow the service change
Luna dashboard showing documents, profile, mileage, banking, tax and VAT services
Surfacing status and the next customer action together.
VAT registration detail showing eligibility, Government Gateway handoff and support
Customer action and Government Gateway sat inside one service route.
Responsive Luna transactions overview with classification actions and totals
Responsive transactions made the next financial task explicit.

The screen matters. So does everything that makes the next screen better.

Design operations only earns its place when it improves product decisions and the quality of what reaches people.

1

Find the real constraint

A difficult interface often points to a service, model or decision problem upstream.

2

Prototype the hard parts

Working behaviour answers questions that static frames flatter or hide.

3

Make the decision visible

Research and reasoning matter when a reviewer can see what changed because of them.

4

Leave a system behind

A pattern, standard or shared route can keep improving work after its author leaves the room.

Have a difficult product or design practice?

I am open to conversations about design operations, senior product design, AI experiences and regulated enterprise products.
